Declarations
The most important declarations are those by means of which parents consent that their underage child go abroad, either accompanied by only one parent, or by another person.
For the authentication of such a declaration, it is necessary to present the child’s birth certificate, the declaring parent’s identity papers, all the identification data of the accompanying person, the duration and means of travel, the route to be followed. http://www.politiadefrontiera.ro
Special attention must be given to the fact that a copy of the declaration shall be taken upon exiting the country by the border police.
Persons acompanying the underage child, if not his/her parents, must also produce a criminal record certificate, even if they are related to the child. The child can travel abroad without the parents consent only in exceptional circumstances.
